The Worlds Fastest Indian

One stop I really wanted to make was at a hardware store in Invercargill. The owner of the store is a motorcycle enthusiast and has many vintage bikes scattered throughout the store. The one bike I was keen on seeing is an old Indian motorcycle that set a speed record in the 1960's on the salt flats in the United States.(over 200mph...pretty fast for a 1920 Indian Scout) There was a movie made about the man's life (Jack Munroe) starring Antony Hopkins.

West of Milford Sound.

Milford Sound. We took a 2 hr boat ride through the Sound and out to the sea then back.

The Town of Nelson. One of our favorite places

We went for a walk over some hills and through pastures and came across this sign. I'm not sure why, but I found the wording on this sign to be humorous.

I always like to be at the center of everything :)

We spent a couple of days here. Very scenic.

On the west side of the island we came across a man and wife showing people how to make a Knife so I decided to try my hand at it. I enjoyed it.
