There was plenty of new and interesting things to discover but you always had to be aware of your surroundings. The day before reading this sign (Ouch!) we had come across a girl who was soaking her hand in a creek and said she was in a lot of pain. She told us she was picking some berries that looked like raspberries then began to feel intense pain in her hand. She was with a group of friends so we assumed she they would get the necessary help. After reading this sign we realized she had come in contact with a Stinging Tree.
We came across a snake from time to time as well.
