We were walking around a grave yard in Malacca and I found this tombstone. The inscription read "Captain Kidd" Date of Birth Unknown. Passed away 1756. I assumed it was the Pirate Captain Kidd so we took a picture of the grave and later research said Captain Kidd is at the bottom of the Thames in England. Can anyone tell me who this guy is?
William Kidd the pirate died in 1701, so it sure ain't that guy. Can't help with who it is though.
ReplyDeleteThis picture reminds me of two guys I met in Europe who did not like their pictures taken. This did not mean they did not want personalized photos of the places they visited so they brought along a turnip. At each monument where tourists were taking pictures of each other these fellows would place their turnip and take the shot. Darwin looks about as excited as that turnip.
